Our letters 'T' for tiger and 'U' for unicorn were especially exciting to color. The preschoolers loved it. We talked about long and short sounds for 'U' as well.
I brought out a few new toys for the week and they loved building these big race tracks for their cars to race down.
The kinetic sand is always a hit. It makes a huge mess, but it's worth it.
Table time activities were all about transportation. We talked about faster and slower, sorted by number of wheels, and used simple shapes to make a form of transportation and wrote about it.
During small groups the kids had the chance to work with me and build 10's. These "Sum Blox" are so great to teach the idea of simple math.
In talking about different modes of transportation, we had the preschoolers bring in a bike, trike, scooter, skateboard, etc. for everyone to try out. They were very good about sharing with their friends and trying new things. It was a really good time for everyone.
